Ukraine will receive Swedish ASC 890 AWACS aircraft after F-16 modification to interact with them

The transfer of Swedish ASC890 airborne early warning and control aircraft to Ukraine, which was announced last May, is on schedule. The delivery dates are linked to the preparation of certain F-16 modifications, the Swedish Ministry of Defence told Delfi .

There are no delays in the transfer of the AWACS aircraft to Ukraine , the department added. "We are working in accordance with the original schedule, but for security reasons we will not report when and where certain actions took place or will take place," the Defense Ministry emphasized.
