Mało tego, że opłata jest po⁎⁎⁎⁎na, to trafiła do sprzedawcy na długo po tym, jak produkty trafiły na półkę sklepową. Więc produkty, które zostały sprzedane po starej cenie zostały sprzedane ze stratą i to znaczącą.
Nie dość, że polityka taryfowa jest głupia w c⁎⁎j i jedyne co ma na celu, to zabawę giełdą, to jeszcze wykańcza małe biznesy, bo jest robiona na twitterze zależnie od tego, jak sie trumpowi c⁎⁎j na nodze ułoży.
On March 18 we received a bill for $1,235.45 from UPS for tariffs and related fees for a $2700 order of goods from a French brand placed on January 22.
The order was shipped from Paris on February 3, arrived in Chicago on February 11, and was received and placed in our shop to sell on February 12.
We’ve ordered from this brand since we opened our shop in 2023 and have never had issues with unexpected expenses before. With items designed in Paris and made in China, we’ve typically paid $100-$200 in tariffs & import fees each time we’ve placed a large order. This time was different.
Items sold for 5 weeks before we knew their true cost. By the time we received the bill for tariffs & brokerage fees (non-negotiable and non-transparent fees we are forced to pay the shipping companies) we had sold many of these items at a loss due to their cost being impacted by these tariffs.
This is the new reality of owning a small retail shop. Not only are The Tr*mp Tariffs illegal and poorly orchestrated, they will cause extreme harm to local independent shops. We are now unsure of how to proceed with purchasing many items in our store.
