Kasturi Cola

Kasturi Cola

I have written this description several times. I don’t know where to lead you into the composition, where to start, or where to end. Let's see... Those familiar with my work know that I allow my blends to age and evolve over extended periods until they are truly ready—sometimes to a fault, where the initial blend no longer resembles its original intent. I felt this composition reached a state of equilibrium, announcing its completeness, once four distinct profiles aligned clearly: Tobacco, Cola, Oud, and Traditional Kasturi. Yes, I used Kasturi. It was intended as a supporting note, but then it quickly took the lead. The fragrance opens with a cola note: vanillic, citrusy, lightly spicy, and fizzy. Unlike the lighter Civet Cola accord, this cola is made darker by Vietnamese Oud and the caramelized, earthy profile I achieved using multiple tobacco types and extraction methods—drawing from both Nicotiana tabacum and Nicotiana rustica, and Cavendish pipe tobacco. What I think gives this the volume you'll experience is the Oud and Musk. Oh, that musk... I acquired it from a master perfumer who prepares his materials using traditional, closely guarded techniques. He rarely—if ever—shares his work, and I am both humbled and deeply grateful for his trust. I learned that providing a full, rounded profile of certain genres demands using different varieties, so I amplified the musk profile with Siberian and Mongolian musk to up the animalic aspect. But fear not, it is pleasant. Not feral, not primal. There is one ingredient I would have preferred not to reveal, but I need to—at least partially—to explain the price point of this blend: Wild Sylheti Oud. You may not notice it unless you truly have the nose for it, but its impact on the profile has been phenomenal, as has its impact on the cost. The difference it made before and after its addition was the difference between a scruffy blend and a smooth one. Just like how Qinan Rose gave you glimpse of what Two Souls is, or what the perfume will be like. I reserved a portion of this base for another animalic tobacco blend that will appear in the future when ready. Also, that Kasturi, is coming your way in a musk centered blend, that dials up the mocha and chocolate aspects of the musk, while maintaining the animalic genre. Stay tuned! The Concentrations This blend manifested differently at different intensities—the only true reason to offer a fragrance in multiple forms. I have curated two versions that are complementary, yet entirely individual in their own right. The Dense: If this fragrance were an incense, this is the slow-burn. It is the scent of precious resins resting on a dying ember, where the heat is low but the soul of the material is most visceral. Here, the Wild Sylheti Oud and Kasturi don't just drift; they settle. The tobacco is thick and syrupy, and the animalic musks wrap around you with a dark, intimate gravity. It is a deep, meditative hum that stays close to the skin. The Bright: This is the initial bloom—the moment the flame first touches the wood and releases its most volatile, aromatic spirit. In this version, the architecture of the blend is allowed to breathe, lifting the effervescent "fizz" of the Cola and the citrusy spice of the tobacco into the air. While the animalic core remains steadfast, this concentration emphasizes projection and light, creating an electrifying trail that radiates outward.

@pomidorowazupa myślałem o dense początkowo ale po opisie który widziałem może być bright - więc będzie taniej, na razie mam mało deklaracji więc nie wiem czy coś z tego wyjdzie
