Mam dla was listę moich ulubionych bridge'y z mojego ukochanego albumu "The tourted poets department". Głównie podoba mi się podkreślanie końcówek. Wcześniej nawet nie wiedziałem, że jest coś takiego tylko, że to 3 zwrotka. Jak czytałem wyjaśnienie czym jest bridge to nie zrozumiałem.

How Did It End?

Say it once again with feeling

How the death rattle breathing

Silenced as the soul was leaving

The deflation of our dreaming

Leaving me bereft and reeling

My beloved ghost and me

Sitting in a tree

D-Y-I-N-G

Black dog, tutaj bridge jest świetny choć cała fabuła strasznie głupia

Six weeks of breathin' clean air

I still miss the smoke

Were you makin' fun of me

With some esoteric joke?

Now I wanna sell my house

And set fire to all my clothes

And hire a priest to come and exorcise my demons

Even if I die screaming

And I hope you hear it

Love of my live

You shit-talked me under the table

Talkin' rings and talkin' cradles

I wish I could un-recall

How we almost had it all

Dancing phantoms on the terrace

Are they second-hand embarrassed

That I can't get out of bed

'Cause something counterfeit's dead?
