Nathan Gill was once described as Nigel Farage's right-hand-man when both men sat in the European parliament. Now the former leader of Reform UK in Wales has been jailed for 10-and-a-half years after admitting taking £40,000 in bribes to make pro-Russian statements in 2018 and 2019. A Reform UK spokesman said: “Mr Gill’s actions were reprehensible, treasonous and unforgivable. We are glad that justice has been served."
