Poniedziałek IV tydzień zwykły

(Mk 5, 1-20)

Jezus i uczniowie Jego przybyli na drugą stronę jeziora do kraju Gerazeńczyków. Gdy wysiadł z łodzi, zaraz wyszedł Mu naprzeciw z grobowców człowiek opętany przez ducha nieczystego. Mieszkał on stale w grobowcach i nikt już nawet łańcuchem nie mógł go związać. Często bowiem nakładano mu pęta i łańcuchy; ale łańcuchy kruszył, a pęta rozrywał, i nikt nie zdołał go poskromić. Wciąż dniem i nocą w grobowcach i po górach krzyczał i tłukł się kamieniami. Skoro z daleka ujrzał Jezusa, przybiegł, oddał Mu pokłon i zawołał wniebogłosy: "Czego chcesz ode mnie, Jezusie, Synu Boga Najwyższego? Zaklinam Cię na Boga, nie dręcz mnie!" Powiedział mu bowiem: "Wyjdź, duchu nieczysty, z tego człowieka". I zapytał go: "Jak ci na imię?" Odpowiedział Mu: "Na imię mi „Legion”, bo nas jest wielu". I zaczął prosić Go usilnie, żeby ich nie wyganiał z tej okolicy. A pasła się tam na górze wielka trzoda świń. Prosiły Go więc złe duchy: "Poślij nas w świnie, żebyśmy mogli w nie wejść". I pozwolił im. Tak, wyszedłszy, duchy nieczyste weszły w świnie. A trzoda około dwutysięczna ruszyła pędem po urwistym zboczu do jeziora. I potonęły w jeziorze. Pasterze zaś uciekli i rozpowiedzieli o tym w mieście i po osiedlach. A ludzie wyszli zobaczyć, co się stało. Gdy przyszli do Jezusa, ujrzeli opętanego, który miał w sobie „legion”, jak siedział ubrany i przy zdrowych zmysłach. Strach ich ogarnął. A ci, którzy widzieli, opowiedzieli im, co się stało z opętanym, a także o świniach. Wtedy zaczęli Go prosić, żeby odszedł z ich granic. Gdy wsiadał do łodzi, prosił Go opętany, żeby mógł przy Nim zostać. Ale nie zgodził się na to, tylko rzekł do niego: "Wracaj do domu, do swoich, i opowiedz im wszystko, co Pan ci uczynił i jak ulitował się nad tobą". Poszedł więc i zaczął rozgłaszać w Dekapolu wszystko, co Jezus mu uczynił, a wszyscy się dziwili.

Mark 5:1-20

Jesus and his disciples reached the country of the Gerasenes on the other side of the lake, and no sooner had Jesus left the boat than a man with an unclean spirit came out from the tombs towards him. The man lived in the tombs and no one could secure him any more, even with a chain; because he had often been secured with fetters and chains but had snapped the chains and broken the fetters, and no one had the strength to control him. All night and all day, among the tombs and in the mountains, he would howl and gash himself with stones. Catching sight of Jesus from a distance, he ran up and fell at his feet and shouted at the top of his voice, ‘What do you want with me, Jesus, son of the Most High God? Swear by God you will not torture me!’ – for Jesus had been saying to him, ‘Come out of the man, unclean spirit.’ ‘What is your name?’ Jesus asked. ‘My name is legion,’ he answered ‘for there are many of us.’ And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the district. Now there was there on the mountainside a great herd of pigs feeding, and the unclean spirits begged him, ‘Send us to the pigs, let us go into them.’ So he gave them leave. With that, the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs, and the herd of about two thousand pigs charged down the cliff into the lake, and there they were drowned. The swineherds ran off and told their story in the town and in the country round about; and the people came to see what had really happened. They came to Jesus and saw the demoniac sitting there, clothed and in his full senses – the very man who had had the legion in him before – and they were afraid. And those who had witnessed it reported what had happened to the demoniac and what had become of the pigs. Then they began to implore Jesus to leave the neighbourhood. As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed begged to be allowed to stay with him. Jesus would not let him but said to him, ‘Go home to your people and tell them all that the Lord in his mercy has done for you.’ So the man went off and proceeded to spread throughout the Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.

Czwarta Niedziela zwykła

(Mk 1,21-28)

W mieście Kafarnaum Jezus w szabat wszedł do synagogi i nauczał. Zdumiewali się Jego nauką; uczył ich bowiem jak ten, który ma władzę, a nie jak uczeni w Piśmie. Był właśnie w synagodze człowiek opętany przez ducha nieczystego. Zaczął on wołać: „Czego chcesz od nas, Jezusie Nazarejczyku? Przyszedłeś nas zgubić. Wiem, kto jesteś: Święty Boży”. Lecz Jezus rozkazał mu surowo: „Milcz i wyjdź z niego”. Wtedy duch nieczysty zaczął go targać i z głośnym krzykiem wyszedł z niego. A wszyscy się zdumieli, tak że jeden drugiego pytał: „Co to jest? Nowa jakaś nauka z mocą. Nawet duchom nieczystym rozkazuje i są mu posłuszne”. I wnet rozeszła się wieść o Nim wszędzie po całej okolicznej krainie galilejskiej.

Mark 1:21-28

Jesus and his disciples went as far as Capernaum, and as soon as the sabbath came he went to the synagogue and began to teach. And his teaching made a deep impression on them because, unlike the scribes, he taught them with authority. In their synagogue just then there was a man possessed by an unclean spirit and it shouted, ‘What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God.’ But Jesus said sharply, ‘Be quiet! Come out of him!’ And the unclean spirit threw the man into convulsions and with a loud cry went out of him. The people were so astonished that they started asking each other what it all meant. ‘Here is a teaching that is new’ they said ‘and with authority behind it: he gives orders even to unclean spirits and they obey him.’ And his reputation rapidly spread everywhere, through all the surrounding Galilean countryside.

Sobota III tydzień zwykły

(Mk 4,35-41)

Przez cały dzień Jezus nauczał w przypowieściach. Gdy zapadł wieczór owego dnia, rzekł do uczniów: „Przeprawmy się na drugą stronę”. Zostawili więc tłum, a Jego zabrali, tak jak był w łodzi. Także inne łodzie płynęły z Nim. Naraz zerwał się gwałtowny wicher. Fale biły w łódź, tak że łódź się już napełniała. On zaś spał w tyle łodzi na wezgłowiu. Zbudzili Go i powiedzieli do Niego: „Nauczycielu, nic Cię to nie obchodzi, że giniemy?” On wstał, rozkazał wichrowi i rzekł do jeziora: „Milcz, ucisz się”. Wicher się uspokoił i nastała głęboka cisza. Wtedy rzekł do nich: „Czemu tak bojaźliwi jesteście? Jakże wam brak wiary?” Oni zlękli się bardzo i mówili jeden do drugiego : „Kim właściwie On jest, że nawet wicher i jezioro są Mu posłuszne?”

Mark 4:35-41

With the coming of evening, Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Let us cross over to the other side.’ And leaving the crowd behind they took him, just as he was, in the boat; and there were other boats with him. Then it began to blow a gale and the waves were breaking into the boat so that it was almost swamped. But he was in the stern, his head on the cushion, asleep. They woke him and said to him, ‘Master, do you not care? We are going down!’ And he woke up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, ‘Quiet now! Be calm!’ And the wind dropped, and all was calm again. Then he said to them, ‘Why are you so frightened? How is it that you have no faith?’ They were filled with awe and said to one another, ‘Who can this be? Even the wind and the sea obey him.’

Wspomnienie świętych biskupów Tymoteusza i Tytusa

(Łk 10,1-9)

Spośród swoich uczniów wyznaczył Pan jeszcze innych, siedemdziesięciu dwóch, i wysłał ich po dwóch przed sobą do każdego miasta i miejscowości, dokąd sam przyjść zamierzał. Powiedział też do nich: „Żniwo wprawdzie wielkie, ale robotników mało; proście więc Pana żniwa, żeby wyprawił robotników na swoje żniwo. Idźcie, oto was posyłam jak owce między wilki. Nie noście ze sobą trzosa ani torby, ani sandałów; i nikogo w drodze nie pozdrawiajcie. Gdy do jakiego domu wejdziecie, najpierw mówcie: "Pokój temu domowi!" Jeśli tam mieszka człowiek godny pokoju, wasz pokój spocznie na nim; jeśli nie, powróci do was. W tym samym domu zostańcie, jedząc i pijąc, co mają: bo zasługuje robotnik na swą zapłatę. Nie przechodźcie z domu do domu. Jeśli do jakiego miasta wejdziecie i przyjmą was, jedzcie, co wam podadzą; uzdrawiajcie chorych, którzy tam są, i mówcie im: "Przybliżyło się do was królestwo Boże”.

Luke 10:1-9

After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him in pairs to every town and place where he himself intended to go. He said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. Go on your way; I am sending you out like lambs into the midst of wolves. Carry no purse, no bag, no sandals, and greet no one on the road. Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house!’ And if a person of peace is there, your peace will rest on that person, but if not, it will return to you. Remain in the same house, eating and drinking whatever they provide, for the laborer deserves to be paid. Do not move about from house to house. Whenever you enter a town and its people welcome you, eat what is set before you; cure the sick who are there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

Święto Nawrócenia św. Pawła Apostoła

(Mk 16, 15-18)

Po swoim zmartwychwstaniu Jezus ukazał się Jedenastu i powiedział do nich: "Idźcie na cały świat i głoście Ewangelię wszelkiemu stworzeniu! Kto uwierzy i przyjmie chrzest, będzie zbawiony; a kto nie uwierzy, będzie potępiony. Tym zaś, którzy uwierzą, te znaki towarzyszyć będą: W imię moje złe duchy będą wyrzucać, nowymi językami mówić będą; węże brać będą do rąk, i jeśliby co zatrutego wypili, nie będzie im szkodzić. Na chorych ręce kłaść będą, i ci odzyskają zdrowie".

Mark 16:15-18

Jesus showed himself to the Eleven and said to them: ‘Go out to the whole world; proclaim the Good News to all creation. He who believes and is baptised will be saved; he who does not believe will be condemned. These are the signs that will be associated with believers: in my name they will cast out devils; they will have the gift of tongues; they will pick up snakes in their hands, and be unharmed should they drink deadly poison; they will lay their hands on the sick, who will recover.’

Środa III tydzień zwykły

(Mk 4,1-20)

Jezus znowu zaczął nauczać nad jeziorem i bardzo wielki tłum ludzi zebrał się przy Nim. Dlatego wszedł do łodzi i usiadł w niej na jeziorze, a cały lud stał na brzegu jeziora. Uczył ich wiele w przypowieściach i mówił im w swojej nauce: „Słuchajcie: Oto siewca wyszedł siać. A gdy siał, jedno padło na drogę; i przyleciały ptaki, i wydziobały je. Inne padło na miejsce skaliste, gdzie nie miało wiele ziemi, i wnet wzeszło, bo gleba nie była głęboka. Lecz po wschodzie słońca przypaliło się i nie mając korzenia, uschło. Inne znów padło między ciernie, a ciernie wybujały i zagłuszyły je, tak że nie wydało owocu. Inne w końcu padły na ziemię żyzną, wzeszły, wyrosły i wydały plon: trzydziestokrotny, sześćdziesięciokrotny i stokrotny”. I dodał: „Kto ma uszy do słuchania, niechaj słucha”. A gdy był sam, pytali Go ci, którzy przy Nim byli razem z Dwunastoma, o przypowieści. On im odrzekł: „Wam dana jest tajemnica królestwa Bożego, dla tych zaś, którzy są poza wami, wszystko dzieje się w przypowieściach, aby patrzyli oczami, a nie widzieli, słuchali uszami, a nie rozumieli, żeby się nie nawrócili i nie była im wydana tajemnica”. I mówił im: „Nie rozumiecie tej przypowieści? Jakże zrozumiecie inne przypowieści? Siewca sieje słowo. A oto są ci posiani na drodze: u nich sieje się słowo, a skoro je usłyszą, zaraz przychodzi szatan i porywa słowo zasiane w nich. Podobnie na miejscach skalistych posiani są ci, którzy gdy usłyszą słowo, natychmiast przyjmują je z radością; lecz nie mają w sobie korzenia i są niestali. Gdy potem przyjdzie ucisk lub prześladowanie z powodu słowa, zaraz się załamują. Są inni, którzy są zasiani między ciernie: to są ci, którzy słuchają wprawdzie słowa, lecz troski tego świata, ułuda bogactwa i inne żądze wciskają się i zagłuszają słowo, tak że zostaje bezowocne. W końcu na ziemię żyzną zostali posiani ci, którzy słuchają słowa, przyjmują je i wydają owoc: trzydziestokrotny, sześćdziesięciokrotny i stokrotny”.

Mark 4:1-20

Jesus began to teach by the lakeside, but such a huge crowd gathered round him that he got into a boat on the lake and sat there. The people were all along the shore, at the water’s edge. He taught them many things in parables, and in the course of his teaching he said to them, ‘Listen! Imagine a sower going out to sow. Now it happened that, as he sowed, some of the seed fell on the edge of the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some seed fell on rocky ground where it found little soil and sprang up straightaway, because there was no depth of earth; and when the sun came up it was scorched and, not having any roots, it withered away. Some seed fell into thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it produced no crop. And some seeds fell into rich soil and, growing tall and strong, produced crop; and yielded thirty, sixty, even a hundredfold.’ And he said, ‘Listen, anyone who has ears to hear!’ When he was alone, the Twelve, together with the others who formed his company, asked what the parables meant. He told them, ‘The secret of the kingdom of God is given to you, but to those who are outside everything comes in parables, so that they may see and see again, but not perceive; may hear and hear again, but not understand; otherwise they might be converted and be forgiven.’ He said to them, ‘Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand any of the parables? What the sower is sowing is the word. Those on the edge of the path where the word is sown are people who have no sooner heard it than Satan comes and carries away the word that was sown in them. Similarly, those who receive the seed on patches of rock are people who, when first they hear the word, welcome it at once with joy. But they have no root in them, they do not last; should some trial come, or some persecution on account of the word, they fall away at once. Then there are others who receive the seed in thorns. These have heard the word, but the worries of this world, the lure of riches and all the other passions come in to choke the word, and so it produces nothing. And there are those who have received the seed in rich soil: they hear the word and accept it and yield a harvest, thirty and sixty and a hundredfold.’

Poniedziałek III tydzień zwykły

(Mk 3,22-30)

Uczeni w Piśmie, którzy przyszli z Jerozolimy, mówili o Jezusie: „Ma Belzebuba i przez władcę złych duchów wyrzuca złe duchy”. Wtedy Jezus przywołał ich do siebie i mówił im w przypowieściach: „Jak może szatan wyrzucać szatana? Jeśli jakieś królestwo wewnętrznie jest skłócone, takie królestwo nie może się ostać. I jeśli dom wewnętrznie jest skłócony, to taki dom nie będzie mógł się ostać. Jeśli więc szatan powstał przeciw sobie i wewnętrznie jest skłócony, to nie może się ostać, lecz koniec z nim. Nie, nikt nie może wejść do domu mocarza i sprzęt mu zagrabić, jeśli mocarza wpierw nie zwiąże, i wtedy dom jego ograbi. Zaprawdę powiadam wam: wszystkie grzechy i bluźnierstwa, których by się ludzie dopuścili, będą im odpuszczone. Kto by jednak zbluźnił przeciw Duchowi Świętemu, nigdy nie otrzyma odpuszczenia, lecz winien jest grzechu wiecznego”. Mówili bowiem: „Ma ducha nieczystego”.

Mark 3:22-30

The scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying, ‘Beelzebul is in him’ and, ‘It is through the prince of devils that he casts devils out.’ So he called them to him and spoke to them in parables, ‘How can Satan cast out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot last. And if a household is divided against itself, that household can never stand. Now if Satan has rebelled against himself and is divided, he cannot stand either – it is the end of him. But no one can make his way into a strong man’s house and burgle his property unless he has tied up the strong man first. Only then can he burgle his house. ‘I tell you solemnly, all men’s sins will be forgiven, and all their blasphemies; but let anyone blaspheme against the Holy Spirit and he will never have forgiveness: he is guilty of an eternal sin.’ This was because they were saying, ‘An unclean spirit is in him.’

Trzecia Niedziela zwykła

(Mk 1,14-20)

Gdy Jan został uwięziony, przyszedł Jezus do Galilei i głosił Ewangelię Bożą. Mówił: „Czas się wypełnił i bliskie jest królestwo Boże. Nawracajcie się i wierzcie w Ewangelię”. Przechodząc obok Jeziora Galilejskiego, ujrzał Szymona i brata Szymonowego, Andrzeja, jak zarzucali sieć w jezioro; byli bowiem rybakami. Jezus rzekł do nich: „Pójdźcie za Mną, a sprawię, że się staniecie rybakami ludzi”. I natychmiast zostawili sieci i poszli za Nim. Idąc nieco dalej, ujrzał Jakuba, syna Zebedeusza, i brata jego, Jana, którzy też byli w łodzi i naprawiali sieci. Zaraz ich powołał, a oni zostawili ojca swego, Zebedeusza, razem z najemnikami w łodzi i poszli za Nim.

Mark 1:14-20

After John had been arrested, Jesus went into Galilee. There he proclaimed the Good News from God. ‘The time has come’ he said ‘and the kingdom of God is close at hand. Repent, and believe the Good News.’ As he was walking along by the Sea of Galilee he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net in the lake – for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, ‘Follow me and I will make you into fishers of men.’ And at once they left their nets and followed him. Going on a little further, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John; they too were in their boat, mending their nets. He called them at once and, leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the men he employed, they went after him.

Sobota II tydzień zwykły

(Mk 3, 20-21)

Jezus przyszedł do domu, a tłum znów się zbierał, tak że nawet posilić się nie mogli. Gdy to posłyszeli Jego bliscy, wybrali się, żeby Go powstrzymać. Mówiono bowiem: "Odszedł od zmysłów".

Mark 3:20-21

Jesus went home, and once more such a crowd collected that they could not even have a meal. When his relatives heard of this, they set out to take charge of him, convinced he was out of his mind.

Piątek II tydzień zwykły

(Mk 3,13-19)

Jezus wyszedł na górę i przywołał do siebie tych, których sam chciał, a oni przyszli do Niego. I ustanowił Dwunastu, aby Mu towarzyszyli, by mógł wysyłać ich na głoszenie nauki i by mieli władzę wypędzać złe duchy. Ustanowił więc Dwunastu: Szymona, któremu nadał imię Piotr; dalej Jakuba, syna Zebedeusza, i Jana, brata Jakuba, którym nadał przydomek Boanerges, to znaczy: Synowie gromu; dalej Andrzeja, Filipa, Bartłomieja, Mateusza, Tomasza, Jakuba, syna Alfeusza, Tadeusza, Szymona Gorliwego i Judasza Iskariotę, który właśnie Go wydał.

Mark 3:13-19

Jesus went up into the hills and summoned those he wanted. So they came to him and he appointed twelve; they were to be his companions and to be sent out to preach, with power to cast out devils. And so he appointed the Twelve: Simon to whom he gave the name Peter, James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, to whom he gave the name Boanerges or ‘Sons of Thunder’; then Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, the man who was to betray him.

Czwartek II tydzień zwykły

(Mk 3, 7-12)

Jezus oddalił się ze swymi uczniami w stronę jeziora. A przyszło za Nim wielkie mnóstwo ludzi z Galilei. Także z Judei, z Jerozolimy, z Idumei i Zajordania oraz z okolic Tyru i Sydonu szło do Niego mnóstwo wielkie na wieść o tym, jak wiele działał. Toteż polecił swym uczniom, żeby łódka była dla Niego stale w pogotowiu ze względu na tłum, aby na Niego nie napierano. Wielu bowiem uzdrowił i wskutek tego wszyscy, którzy mieli jakieś choroby, cisnęli się do Niego, aby Go dotknąć. Nawet duchy nieczyste, na Jego widok, padały przed Nim i wołały: "Ty jesteś Syn Boży". Lecz On surowo im zabraniał, żeby Go nie ujawniały.

Mark 3:7-12

Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lakeside, and great crowds from Galilee followed him. From Judaea, Jerusalem, Idumaea, Transjordania and the region of Tyre and Sidon, great numbers who had heard of all he was doing came to him. And he asked his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, to keep him from being crushed. For he had cured so many that all who were afflicted in any way were crowding forward to touch him. And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, would fall down before him and shout, ‘You are the Son of God!’ But he warned them strongly not to make him known.

Środa II tydzień zwykły

(Mk 3, 1-6)

W dzień szabatu Jezus wszedł do synagogi. Był tam człowiek, który miał uschniętą rękę. A śledzili Go, czy uzdrowi go w szabat, żeby Go oskarżyć. On zaś rzekł do człowieka z uschłą ręką: "Podnieś się na środek!" A do nich powiedział: "Co wolno w szabat: uczynić coś dobrego czy coś złego? Życie uratować czy zabić?" Lecz oni milczeli. Wtedy spojrzawszy na nich dokoła z gniewem, zasmucony z powodu zatwardziałości ich serc, rzekł do człowieka: "Wyciągnij rękę!" Wyciągnął, i ręka jego stała się znów zdrowa. A faryzeusze wyszli i ze zwolennikami Heroda zaraz się naradzali przeciwko Niemu, w jaki sposób Go zgładzić.

Mark 3:1-6

Jesus went into a synagogue, and there was a man there who had a withered hand. And they were watching him to see if he would cure him on the sabbath day, hoping for something to use against him. He said to the man with the withered hand, ‘Stand up out in the middle!’ Then he said to them, ‘Is it against the law on the sabbath day to do good, or to do evil; to save life, or to kill?’ But they said nothing. Then, grieved to find them so obstinate, he looked angrily round at them, and said to the man, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ He stretched it out and his hand was better. The Pharisees went out and at once began to plot with the Herodians against him, discussing how to destroy him.

Wtorek II tydzień zwykły

(Mk 2, 23-28)

Pewnego razu, gdy Jezus przechodził w szabat pośród zbóż, uczniowie Jego zaczęli po drodze zrywać kłosy. Na to faryzeusze mówili do Niego: "Patrz, czemu oni czynią w szabat to, czego nie wolno?" On im odpowiedział: "Czy nigdy nie czytaliście, co uczynił Dawid, kiedy znalazł się w potrzebie i poczuł głód, on i jego towarzysze? Jak wszedł do domu Bożego za Abiatara, najwyższego kapłana, i jadł chleby pokładne, które tylko kapłanom jeść wolno; i dał również swoim towarzyszom". I dodał: "To szabat został ustanowiony dla człowieka, a nie człowiek dla szabatu. Zatem Syn Człowieczy jest Panem także szabatu".

Mark 2:23-28

One sabbath day, Jesus happened to be taking a walk through the cornfields, and his disciples began to pick ears of corn as they went along. And the Pharisees said to him, ‘Look, why are they doing something on the sabbath day that is forbidden?’ And he replied, ‘Did you never read what David did in his time of need when he and his followers were hungry – how he went into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the loaves of offering which only the priests are allowed to eat, and how he also gave some to the men with him?’ And he said to them, ‘The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath; the Son of Man is master even of the sabbath.’

Poniedziałek II tydzień zwykły

(Mk 2, 18-22)

Uczniowie Jana i faryzeusze mieli właśnie post. Przyszli więc do Jezusa i pytali: "Dlaczego uczniowie Jana i uczniowie faryzeuszów poszczą, a Twoi uczniowie nie poszczą?" Jezus im odpowiedział: "Czy goście weselni mogą pościć, dopóki pan młody jest z nimi? Nie mogą pościć, jak długo mają pośród siebie pana młodego. Lecz przyjdzie czas, kiedy zabiorą im pana młodego, a wtedy, w ów dzień, będą pościć. Nikt nie przyszywa łaty z surowego sukna do starego ubrania. W przeciwnym razie nowa łata obrywa jeszcze część ze starego ubrania i gorsze staje się przedarcie. Nikt też młodego wina nie wlewa do starych bukłaków. W przeciwnym razie wino rozerwie bukłaki. Wino się wylewa i bukłaki przepadną. Raczej młode wino należy wlewać do nowych bukłaków".

Mark 2:18-22

One day when John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting, some people came to Jesus and said to him, ‘Why is it that John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not?’ Jesus replied, ‘Surely the bridegroom’s attendants would never think of fasting while the bridegroom is still with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they could not think of fasting. But the time will come for the bridegroom to be taken away from them, and then, on that day, they will fast. No one sews a piece of unshrunken cloth on an old cloak; if he does, the patch pulls away from it, the new from the old, and the tear gets worse. And nobody puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost and the skins too. No! New wine, fresh skins!’

Druga Niedziela zwykła

(J 1,35-42)

Jan stał wraz z dwoma swoimi uczniami i gdy zobaczył przechodzącego Jezusa, rzekł: „Oto Baranek Boży”. Dwaj uczniowie usłyszeli, jak mówił, i poszli za Jezusem. Jezus zaś odwróciwszy się i ujrzawszy, że oni idą za Nim, rzekł do nich: „Czego szukacie?” Oni powiedzieli do Niego: „Rabbi, to znaczy: Nauczycielu, gdzie mieszkasz?” Odpowiedział im: „Chodźcie, a zobaczycie”. Poszli więc i zobaczyli, gdzie mieszka, i tego dnia pozostali u Niego. Było to około godziny dziesiątej. Jednym z dwóch, którzy to usłyszeli od Jana i poszli za Nim, był Andrzej, brat Szymona Piotra. Ten spotkał najpierw swego brata i rzekł do niego: „Znaleźliśmy Mesjasza”, to znaczy: Chrystusa. I przyprowadził go do Jezusa. A Jezus wejrzawszy na niego rzekł: „Ty jesteś Szymon, syn Jana, ty będziesz się nazywał Kefas”, to znaczy: Piotr.

John 1:35-42

As John stood with two of his disciples, Jesus passed, and John stared hard at him and said, ‘Look, there is the lamb of God.’ Hearing this, the two disciples followed Jesus. Jesus turned round, saw them following and said, ‘What do you want?’ They answered, ‘Rabbi,’ – which means Teacher – ‘where do you live?’ ‘Come and see’ he replied; so they went and saw where he lived, and stayed with him the rest of that day. It was about the tenth hour. One of these two who became followers of Jesus after hearing what John had said was Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter. Early next morning, Andrew met his brother and said to him, ‘We have found the Messiah’ – which means the Christ – and he took Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked hard at him and said, ‘You are Simon son of John; you are to be called Cephas’ – meaning Rock.

Sobota I tydzień zwykły

(Mk 2, 13-17)

Jezus wyszedł znowu nad jezioro. Cały lud przychodził do Niego, a On go nauczał. A przechodząc, ujrzał Lewiego, syna Alfeusza, siedzącego na komorze celnej, i rzekł do niego: "Pójdź za Mną!" Ten wstał i poszedł za Nim. Gdy Jezus siedział w jego domu przy stole, wielu celników i grzeszników siedziało razem z Jezusem i Jego uczniami. Wielu bowiem było tych, którzy szli za Nim. Niektórzy uczeni w Piśmie, spośród faryzeuszów, widząc, że je z grzesznikami i celnikami, mówili do Jego uczniów: "Czemu On je i pije z celnikami i grzesznikami?" Jezus, usłyszawszy to, rzekł do nich: "Nie potrzebują lekarza zdrowi, lecz ci, którzy się źle mają. Nie przyszedłem, aby powołać sprawiedliwych, ale grzeszników".

Mark 2:13-17

Jesus went out to the shore of the lake; and all the people came to him, and he taught them. As he was walking on he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus, sitting by the customs house, and he said to him, ‘Follow me.’ And he got up and followed him. When Jesus was at dinner in his house, a number of tax collectors and sinners were also sitting at the table with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many of them among his followers. When the scribes of the Pharisee party saw him eating with sinners and tax collectors, they said to his disciples, ‘Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?’ When Jesus heard this he said to them, ‘It is not the healthy who need the doctor, but the sick. I did not come to call the virtuous, but sinners.’

Piątek I tydzień zwykły

(Mk 2, 1-12)

Gdy po pewnym czasie Jezus wrócił do Kafarnaum, posłyszano, że jest w domu. Zebrało się zatem tylu ludzi, że nawet przed drzwiami nie było miejsca, a On głosił im naukę. I przyszli do Niego z paralitykiem, którego niosło czterech. Nie mogąc z powodu tłumu przynieść go do Niego, odkryli dach nad miejscem, gdzie Jezus się znajdował, i przez otwór spuścili nosze, na których leżał paralityk. Jezus, widząc ich wiarę, rzekł do paralityka: "Dziecko, odpuszczone są twoje grzechy". A siedziało tam kilku uczonych w Piśmie, którzy myśleli w sercach swoich: "Czemu On tak mówi? On bluźni. Któż może odpuszczać grzechy, prócz jednego Boga?" Jezus poznał zaraz w swym duchu, że tak myślą, i rzekł do nich: "Czemu myśli te nurtują w waszych sercach? Cóż jest łatwiej: powiedzieć paralitykowi: Odpuszczone są twoje grzechy, czy też powiedzieć: Wstań, weź swoje nosze i chodź? Otóż, żebyście wiedzieli, iż Syn Człowieczy ma na ziemi władzę odpuszczania grzechów – rzekł do paralityka: Mówię ci: Wstań, weź swoje nosze i idź do swego domu!" On wstał, wziął zaraz swoje nosze i wyszedł na oczach wszystkich. Zdumieli się wszyscy i wielbili Boga, mówiąc: "Nigdy jeszcze nie widzieliśmy czegoś podobnego".

Mark 2:1-12

When Jesus returned to Capernaum, word went round that he was back; and so many people collected that there was no room left, even in front of the door. He was preaching the word to them when some people came bringing him a paralytic carried by four men, but as the crowd made it impossible to get the man to him, they stripped the roof over the place where Jesus was; and when they had made an opening, they lowered the stretcher on which the paralytic lay. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, ‘My child, your sins are forgiven.’ Now some scribes were sitting there, and they thought to themselves, ‘How can this man talk like that? He is blaspheming. Who can forgive sins but God?’ Jesus, inwardly aware that this was what they were thinking, said to them, ‘Why do you have these thoughts in your hearts? Which of these is easier: to say to the paralytic, “Your sins are forgiven” or to say, “Get up, pick up your stretcher and walk”? But to prove to you that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,’ – he turned to the paralytic – ‘I order you: get up, pick up your stretcher, and go off home.’ And the man got up, picked up his stretcher at once and walked out in front of everyone, so that they were all astounded and praised God saying, ‘We have never seen anything like this.’

Czwartek I tydzień zwykły

(Mk 1, 40-45)

Pewnego dnia przyszedł do Jezusa trędowaty i upadłszy na kolana, prosił Go: "Jeśli zechcesz, możesz mnie oczyścić". A Jezus, zdjęty litością, wyciągnął rękę, dotknął go i rzekł do niego: "Chcę, bądź oczyszczony". Zaraz trąd go opuścił, i został oczyszczony. Jezus surowo mu przykazał i zaraz go odprawił, mówiąc mu: "Bacz, abyś nikomu nic nie mówił, ale idź, pokaż się kapłanowi i złóż za swe oczyszczenie ofiarę, którą przepisał Mojżesz, na świadectwo dla nich". Lecz on po wyjściu zaczął wiele opowiadać i rozgłaszać to, co zaszło, tak że Jezus nie mógł już jawnie wejść do miasta, lecz przebywał w miejscach pustynnych. A ludzie zewsząd schodzili się do Niego.

Mark 1:40-45

A leper came to Jesus and pleaded on his knees: ‘If you want to’ he said ‘you can cure me.’ Feeling sorry for him, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him. ‘Of course I want to!’ he said. ‘Be cured!’ And the leprosy left him at once and he was cured. Jesus immediately sent him away and sternly ordered him, ‘Mind you say nothing to anyone, but go and show yourself to the priest, and make the offering for your healing prescribed by Moses as evidence of your recovery.’ The man went away, but then started talking about it freely and telling the story everywhere, so that Jesus could no longer go openly into any town, but had to stay outside in places where nobody lived. Even so, people from all around would come to him.

Środa I tydzień zwykły

(Mk 1, 29-39)

Po wyjściu z synagogi Jezus przyszedł z Jakubem i Janem do domu Szymona i Andrzeja. Teściowa zaś Szymona leżała w gorączce. Zaraz powiedzieli Mu o niej. On podszedł i podniósł ją, ująwszy za rękę, a opuściła ją gorączka. I usługiwała im. Z nastaniem wieczora, gdy słońce zaszło, przynosili do Niego wszystkich chorych i opętanych; i całe miasto zebrało się u drzwi. Uzdrowił wielu dotkniętych rozmaitymi chorobami i wiele złych duchów wyrzucił, lecz nie pozwalał złym duchom mówić, ponieważ Go znały. Nad ranem, kiedy jeszcze było ciemno, wstał, wyszedł i udał się na miejsce pustynne, i tam się modlił. Pośpieszył za Nim Szymon z towarzyszami, a gdy Go znaleźli, powiedzieli Mu: "Wszyscy Cię szukają". Lecz On rzekł do nich: "Pójdźmy gdzie indziej, do sąsiednich miejscowości, abym i tam mógł nauczać, bo po to wyszedłem". I chodził po całej Galilei, nauczając w ich synagogach i wyrzucając złe duchy.

Mark 1:29-39

On leaving the synagogue, Jesus went with James and John straight to the house of Simon and Andrew. Now Simon’s mother-in-law had gone to bed with fever, and they told him about her straightaway. He went to her, took her by the hand and helped her up. And the fever left her and she began to wait on them. That evening, after sunset, they brought to him all who were sick and those who were possessed by devils. The whole town came crowding round the door, and he cured many who were suffering from diseases of one kind or another; he also cast out many devils, but he would not allow them to speak, because they knew who he was. In the morning, long before dawn, he got up and left the house, and went off to a lonely place and prayed there. Simon and his companions set out in search of him, and when they found him they said, ‘Everybody is looking for you.’ He answered, ‘Let us go elsewhere, to the neighbouring country towns, so that I can preach there too, because that is why I came.’ And he went all through Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out devils.

Wtorek I tydzień zwykły

(Mk 1, 21-28)

W Kafarnaum Jezus w szabat wszedł do synagogi i nauczał. Zdumiewali się Jego nauką: uczył ich bowiem jak ten, który ma władzę, a nie jak uczeni w Piśmie. Był właśnie w ich synagodze człowiek opętany przez ducha nieczystego. Zaczął on wołać: "Czego chcesz od nas, Jezusie Nazarejczyku? Przyszedłeś nas zgubić. Wiem, kto jesteś: Święty Boga". Lecz Jezus rozkazał mu surowo: "Milcz i wyjdź z niego!" Wtedy duch nieczysty zaczął nim miotać i z głośnym krzykiem wyszedł z niego. A wszyscy się zdumieli, tak że jeden drugiego pytał: "Co to jest? Nowa jakaś nauka z mocą. Nawet duchom nieczystym rozkazuje i są Mu posłuszne". I wnet rozeszła się wieść o Nim wszędzie po całej okolicznej krainie galilejskiej.

Mark 1:21-28

Jesus and his disciples went as far as Capernaum, and as soon as the sabbath came he went to the synagogue and began to teach. And his teaching made a deep impression on them because, unlike the scribes, he taught them with authority. In their synagogue just then there was a man possessed by an unclean spirit and it shouted, ‘What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God.’ But Jesus said sharply, ‘Be quiet! Come out of him!’ And the unclean spirit threw the man into convulsions and with a loud cry went out of him. The people were so astonished that they started asking each other what it all meant. ‘Here is a teaching that is new’ they said ‘and with authority behind it: he gives orders even to unclean spirits and they obey him.’ And his reputation rapidly spread everywhere, through all the surrounding Galilean countryside.
