Poniedziałek XXXII tydzień zwykły
(Łk 17,1-6)
Jezus powiedział do swoich uczniów: „Niepodobna, żeby nie przyszły zgorszenia; lecz biada temu, przez którego przychodzą. Byłoby lepiej dla niego, gdyby kamień młyński zawieszono mu u szyi i wrzucono go w morze, niż żeby miał być powodem grzechu jednego z tych małych. Uważajcie na siebie. Jeśli brat twój zawini, upomnij go; i jeśli żałuje, przebacz mu. I jeśliby siedem razy na dzień zawinił przeciw tobie i siedem razy zwróciłby się do ciebie, mówiąc: "Żałuję tego", przebacz mu”. Apostołowie prosili Pana: „Przymnóż nam wiary”. Pan rzekł: „Gdybyście mieli wiarę jak ziarnko gorczycy, powiedzielibyście tej morwie: «Wyrwij się z korzeniem i przesadź się w morze», a byłaby wam posłuszna”.
Luke 17:1-6
At that time: Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung round his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, “I repent”, you must forgive him.’ The Apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith!’ And the Lord said, ‘If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea”, and it would obey you.’
